"Se o teu corpo não está sob o teu controle, a tua mente não está sob o teu controle, e o teu espírito não está sob o teu controle, como vais enfrentar o desafio do tempo e do espaço?" - Yogi Bhajan

Numerology Forecast for September 2011

September 2011 Numerology Forecast: Leaving Old Patterns Behind

By Nam Hari Kaur Khalsa, in AQUARIAN TIMES

The month of September is a whirling dervish of activity and intense emotional drama. We are feeling an overwhelming longing for support and nurturing, along with the frustration of hearing the constant voicemail message, “I’m unavailable, leave me a message, maybe I’ll call back later.” There are times in life where we are very much on our own, and this month is one of those times. Because of the energetic build-up to 11-11-11, the cosmic deck of cards is being so furiously reshuffled that is difficult to feel a sense of stability and peaceful continuity.Anything nostalgic will be very popular now, as people will be wondering, “What happened to the good old days, when I felt like I had a handle on things?”

It is the increasing loss of control which is totally freaking everyone out. This can contribute to a sense of there being something wrong with one’s self, when it is actually a symptom of the times. One of the Five Sutras of the Aquarian Age is,“Understand through compassion, or you will misunderstand the times.” This shifts the emphasis from thinking, “I’ve just got to stay ahead of it all somehow,” to a more relaxed, heart-felt space where we can begin to understand that we are presently in one of the most fantastically phenomenal times ever on planet Earth. The old rules just don’t apply anymore.

So, how can we traverse this tempestuous time and space? I can recall a summer when I was traveling by myself from Colorado to California. To make this journey you have to drive through Utah, which I had never done before. As I crossed the state line into Utah, I noticed the landscape changing dramatically from the tall pines and rivers of Colorado, into a strange moon-like expanse of rocks and barren nothingness. Further adding to my unease were the highway signs which read, “No Services for the Next 120 Miles.”

And that included no cell phone service. “Hmmm,” I thought, “Here I am, totally alone with absolutely no help if anything goes wrong.” I knew there were certain things I could cover—having enough food, gas, and water—and I also knew there was another area that would be totally out of my control. The Unknown. How would I manage this so I wouldn’t be sweating bullets for the entire 500 mile journey through a scorching desert? The Unknown is represented by the number 9.There is always an aspect to life which can’t be calculated or figured out. Even in the science of numerology we call this the “unknown variable.” However, there is a way to cover this when you “know the code.” In the mantric coding system it is theAdi Shakti Mantra[1] which will create a space of grace to carry you across. The radiator belt that might have snapped out in the middle of nowhere will hold till you reach a gas station. Within the Adi Shakti Mantra is the phrase, Sarab Shaktiwhich means “All encompassing creative power.” The right answer will be created for you.

Another aspect of the number 9 is death and completion. What primarily will be dying on the planet are the old, codependent, emotional habit patterns that have been enslaving us for generations. Sounds rather intense, doesn’t it? If you have ever taken a pacifier away from a child, what do you get? Yelling and screaming. The child believes that his/her world has come to an end, because a plastic pacifier is all they know. The idea that there could be other forms of entertainment, interaction, or even evolution are all foreign at their stage of development. Humanity’s emotional learning curve will be experiencing a sharp increase in what is known as “degree of difficulty.”

The inability of others to come through for us simply because they too are going through so much will be widely experienced by all. Where to turn? As we approach the 11-11-11 Transit Portal Date we will benefit greatly by calling upon our Angels, Gurus, Savior, and ArcAngels. Although we may not be able to see them in everyday life, their presence, and our ability to call them in, is an increasing necessity of the times.

Sometimes when children are playing in a schoolyard the ball will go flying over the fence into the street. One of the children would then have to run down to the end of the schoolyard, go through the gate, and then into the street to get the fly-away ball. Or, if that child focused and projected just right, they could call over to the other side and say, ”Little help!” and usually someone would toss the ball back over the fence line.

Set your psyche now to the flow of the universal psyche. Pick your angel, chant your mantra, and shatter the shackles of the karmic patterns so you may be free of the ancestral entrapment.

As Yogi Bhajan said:

“Nothing can change the pattern of human destiny until the devotion is so strong that one is willing to sacrifice his patterns. And when that occurs, life is guaranteed changed. Elevated consciousness is a surety. Happiness is around the corner.”

Tempo: 3 a 5 minutos.

Yogi Bhajan sobre a respiração:

“The link between you and God is the breath. Be conscious of the total breath in all three forms.”

“Air must go all the way out on the exhale so that all the heart valves get equal pressure, and the brain and central nervous system will trigger survival systems for a few seconds.”

Yogi Bhajan sobre esta meditação:

“This meditation brings the entire nervous and glandular system into balance. By putting the thumbs together in this mudra, the sciatic nerve is neutralized at the point of ego. (Thumbs represent the energy of the ego.) This particular balance puts pressure on certain meridian points in the shoulders.

“Be conscious that even with the breath out, you are still alive. A lot of problems in family and social relationships are because you don’t have control over the breath. The beauty of life is based on the breath. It is the link between you and God and the breath of life is what gives you the sensitivity to your environment.

“Do this meditation at lunchtime or any time you want to be sharper and have an edge over another person. It balances all the nervous energies and the glandular system to tune them to maximum efficiency. It can raise efficiency to the point of life over death. No need to take ‘uppers’ and ‘downers’; the breath of life can balance you any time you want.”

Esta meditação está incluida no livro "Survival Kit Manual" com o nome de Meditation for Hair-Trigger Efficiency, livro este que já não se encontra disponível. Aparentemente, foi incluída também no livro "Praana, Praanee Praanayam".

Numerology Forecast for July 2011

Clarity of Consciousness in Rapidly Changing Circumstances

By Nam Hari Kaur Khalsa, in AQUARIAN TIMES

The month of July brings about a time of increased sensitivity in our most important relationships. Whether it’s marriage, work, or friendship, we will find ourselves hypersensitive to the slightest perception of misplaced loyalties. Number 9 is in the Heart meridian of this month, and 9 is the most sensitive number. When it flips to the negative polarity it can be quite jealous and resentful. It is also interesting to note that 9 is the number of mystery and illusion, so our first read of certain circumstances may be fueled more by our own emotions than actual reality. It is necessary to get the facts straight before opening your mouth and committing to a particular point of view.

It will be difficult to get out of commitments or promises at this time; the verbal cement will be drying rather quickly and leave little room for adjustments later. Your own words can come back to haunt or help you, depending on how well you have chosen them.

The 7 of this month (July) represents issues of trust and emotional boundaries. The question will arise, “Who can I trust, and who must I politely maneuver away from?”

Both the numbers 7 and 9 have a resonance with secrets, so be very selective with whom you share any personal information. As harsh as it may sound, Yogi Bhajan once said, “Never share in friendship what can be used against you in animosity.” We need to be our own best friend first, and not set ourselves up for the fall. Self-reliance is one of the greatest virtues we can have in these times. Remember, the flow of electrical energy from the higher spiritual planes to planet Earth is increasing, and not everyone is in a position to handle this increased electrical current. An old house will sometimes need to be rewired so it can be brought up to “code,” so that it can handle the increased voltage in a safe way. Many of us need to be brought up to code too! The previous level of prana (life force vitality) we ran our life on is no longer enough to maintain a happy and creative existence. This is why we have the expression, “He or she is burned out.”

An important aspect of the number 7 is solitude and sanctuary, so now is the time to create an emotional and physical time out from the world in order to stabilize ourselves. We have just passed the midpoint of the year, and 7 represents a time of strategy and adjustments. Allow yourself to go deep within to determine who is helping you, and who is hindering you in life. There will likely be someone that you need to distance yourself from, or let go of completely. Set new boundaries for yourself so there may be a better balance between the outflow and inflow of energy in the “spiritual physics” of your life. Because of the increasing intensity of the overall transition period we are in, there is the need to protect ourselves from “emotional vampires.” Dramatic as this sounds, it simply means that there are people who will devour your positive energy with their endless need for drama (part of the “old code” wiring system). Some people are the leading character in their own soap opera, so remember that you always have the power to change the channel.

Seven is the Water element, and drinking lots of water will help to cleanse and balance your lymphatic system. When the lymphatic system is overloaded it contributes to the feeling of bitterness. The thought, “People are just no good!” is a creeping vine of this emotional negativity. Now is the time to sweat it out of your system, and by doing so you will find yourself refreshed and relaxed. Sit in a sauna, take a eucalyptus mineral salt bath, or run on the beach. Do something to purge out any festering dark feelings you may have. A new wave of opportunity is around the corner in August, and you need to have a crystal clear clarity of consciousness to decipher the subtle clues in the new information coming your way. Break free from the re-run scenario of life, where you end up wondering, “Why does this always happen to me?” Train yourself to recognize the tilt of the first domino tipping over, so you don’t create a sequence from which you can’t bear the consequence. There is a beautifully simple meditation called “Balancing the Nervous Energies.” Yogi Bhajan said that this technique will “make you sharp, and give you the edge over another person.” Our ability to act and respond to rapidly changing circumstances is an increasingly essential part of life. This meditation is so powerful, it is recommended to practice it only 3 to 5 minutes.

Allow yourself to relax and renew in this season of 7, and know that your new found clarity will guide you to the higher ground of spiritual awareness.

As Yogi Bhajan has said:

“In our human relativity, our sensitivity, our mental projection, and our mental activity, there’s going to be a great change. It is very essential for the human race to be watchful, to be creative, and to be equipped with a positive channelizing method for mental energy.”

May 2011 Numerology

Check Your Emotional Seismograph

By Nam Hari Kaur Khalsa, California, USA, in AQUARIAN TIMES

The month of May brings a restless intensity of spirit that is looking for a major life breakthrough. We will find ourselves thinking, planning, and strategizing our next great move in life, while deciding who we would like to take along for the ride.

Number 5 represents change, and the risks we are willing to take to implement those changes. Five also embodies the emotions of flexibility and tolerance; however since 5 is challenged this month, we will be noticing a lack of flexibility in peoples’ behavior. This will require us to become very quick and emotionally agile in order to avoid another person’s intolerance and aggravated outburst. Look out, because it’s definitely coming. Does this mean you have to walk around looking over your shoulder all the time? No, of course not. What it does mean is that you need to develop an “emotional seismograph” in order to navigate around the brewing storm. Everything in nature gives a warning first. You just need to develop the sophisticated sensitivity to tune into it. The wildlife of the land is always on the run before the tsunami hits the shoreline. We as humans need to develop the ability to decipher the subtle cues in the environment (including human behavior) so we are not blindsided by misfortune. Have you ever heard yourself say, “I knew it, I just knew it!” but you still didn’t listen?

We are moving into an accelerated flow of time which does not allow for careless mistakes. This need not create fear, and as I like to say: “It’s not beware, it’s be aware.”

May brings a time of increased effectiveness in the area of future planning. Get your ducks in a row now so you don’t end up having to row against the tide later in the year. The calendar year of 2011 has the interesting effect of sharply bringing the actions you initiated in the first half of the year full circle into the last quarter of the year—kind of like a boomerang. This can be tremendously positive if you have been doing your spiritual homework, or a total let-down if not. We are in the zone of “no middle ground.” There is now the ability to swiftly manifest and play out our thoughts and desires. This can be fantastic, or a total nightmare. The key is to keep your mind clear so that you are not in the vicious cycle of your subconscious habit patterns. This requires discipline. Five represents the ability to create a structure of healthy habits so we can experience the freedom of our higher self. As Yogi Bhajan has said, we should be, “Contained, Content, and Conscious.” These three touchstones create a triangle of stability for our spirit. Having a base of containing our energy in a discipline will then connect us to a consistent space of contentment. This allows us to rest on our own pinnacle of Consciousness. It really is just that simple.

Five represents the physical body and the quality of endurance. This is a good time to check in with yourself and ask the question, “How is my health, and is there room for improvement?” Remember, next year in 2012 (2+0+1+2=5) there will be many changes on planet Earth. These changes will challenge us on a physical, mental, and emotional level. Increasing your endurance now will serve you well later. Making time for your own well-being is a human requirement. We all have pressures which consume our energy and make it easy to create excuses for self-neglect. Shift your priorities so there is time in the day for nurturing your health and spiritual growth.

Looking to the world of music, there was a popular singer and actress who started out in the 1930’s named Lena Horne. She had a particularly difficult path to forge in the entertainment industry of her day, because not only was she a woman, she was of Black-Caucasian ethnicity—not the power card of those times. In some parts of the United States there were still White/Colored signs on the drinking fountains. Her early films of the 40’s often had to be re-edited, because if the film was shown in a U.S theater where black people were not allowed to enter, her role was left out. Also, no black people were allowed to have a leading role in film in the 1940’s.

As society evolved, Lena did gain a presence in film, and also made grand strides in the music industry. In 1981 she won a Tony Award and two Grammys for her Broadway show “Lena Horne: The Lady and Her Music.” Lena was later honored with a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1989. From her humble beginnings in the 1930‘s where she started out as a chorus girl at the Cotton Club in NYC, to her farewell performance at Carnegie Hall in 1993, Lena Horne carried herself with a grace and dignity which defied all obstacles and boundaries. She excelled in spite of the negative forces around her who felt that she should “know her place” and just stay there. Six decades later someone asked her how she was able to maintain herself in spite of all the odds against her. Lena’s simple reply was, “It’s not the weight that breaks you; it’s how you carry it.”
